National Seniors Forest Lake
We celebrated our 14th birthday in August with a cake and great entertainment by the “Mates Rates” Quartet.
The month was capped off by a bus trip visit to the Wellington Point Restaurant for a High Tea and later some shopping at the Golden Circle DFO.
Branch members enjoyed a great Christmas in July at Mount Mee which fell after the August edition of the Lake News went to print.
We were entertained by a duet while enjoying the panoramic views of the Sunshine Coast and mountains.
September will see a visit to Esk to have lunch and be entertained by the “Esk Bush Bashers” with singing, dancing and group participation.
There are many more activities planned for the rest of the year so we guarantee to maintain your interest.
If you are looking to remain active in your later years, medically recommended for longevity, then our branch membership may be just what you are looking for.
Come along to our monthly meetings held on the second Thursday of each month at the Forest Lake Tavern starting at 9.30am for 10am start.
